About:
Luis Ulloa recently received his MFA from the School of the Art Institute
of Chicago. Previously he studied biology at the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana, and completed
two years of Film production training at the Centro de Capacitacion Cinematografica in Mexico City.
He has worked in several positions in independent film and educational video, and has worked closely
with the Mexican community in Chicago. Ulloa teaches video classes to the young Latinos and other
minorities in several not for profit organizations, including the Museum of Contemporary Art.
Currently, Ulloa teaches Latin America Art History at Columbia College in Chicago.
